Giving the brain a break from the high stimulation of electronic screens
This group is based around gathering families together to get outdoors and enjoy nature. We plan to meet at a variety of locations around the north-east region of Grand Rapids to allow for a variety of experiences. All events will include unstructured play in the outdoors, and many events will include an activity or educational talk. We will have weekend and weekday gatherings that will last around 2 hours but we will meet in public spaces so feel free to plan to stay longer or if you need to leave early that is no problem.
Adults must be present with your children and remain responsible for supervising the children they bring to each gathering.
At each location we will meet together for the first 15-30 minutes prior to adventuring and exploring to gather everyone together.

When you are enjoying activities outdoors, remember the countryside code: respect, protect, enjoy
Respect other people. Consider the local community and other people enjoying the outdoors. Leave no trace of your visit, take your litter home, and leave it better than you found it.
Leave gates and property as you find them. Farmers may have left gates open or closed to consider their livestock.
Protect the natural environment. Help to conserve and preserve the natural environment by following paths unless wider access is available.
Enjoy the outdoors. Plan ahead and be prepared. Follow advice and local signs.
REMEMBER: Take only Photographs and leave only footprints.
